    Priority for Power is :
    1 – Photos
    2 – As Built

FR doesn’t have any priority. (It can be just helpful for finding details)

SO in this case 40A three phase is the correct answer as you mentioned in your email.

Please put a task in Asana and follow it up every week with Ali to get confirmation to remove it or relocate it.

” There are 2 x spare 3.7m MW dishes at E.L 23.0 which might block proposed Optus antennas. As per L1 response they have been decommissioned on 03/2011, but they are existing on the tower. In L2 submission, we need to ask if we can remove them.”

Since VHA antenna and RRU will be added to this site, I have been thinking we need to consider a place for VHA BTS RACK in shelter. What is your idea?

The VHA DC power has been considered in phase 1, but nothing has been mentioned about VHA BTS RACK. Please clarify.

      Daryoosh

Please check “Library\Catalogues and Brochures\ODUs and Shelters” and for example open Type C3 shelter and look at the BTS.
In other hand check CAD block.

Please check “OM38349_Optus_Standard_Rack_Drawings_v2.1” for racks as well.

When there is 2 Dc power is site, do we need to check NONLAED operator for battery and rectifier?

    • January 31, 2018 at 2:39 am
      Daryoosh

      Yes that’s correct.
Left hand side is Optus one and right is VHA.

when we remove a MHA which has 2 tails, Can we use that 2 tails for new RRUs or Combiners?

    • January 31, 2018 at 2:44 am
      Daryoosh

We have the same situation in one of our Rancap jobs.
i prefer to say “New tails to be installed if required otherwise existing tails of redundant ancillaries to be reused for new ancillaries”

What is conduit and where we should add the note for new conduit?

    • January 31, 2018 at 2:51 am
      Daryoosh

conduit is “a tube or trough for protecting electric wiring.” (from google search)
Also I paste few related catalogues to our jobs into the server :
      “Library\Catalogues and Brochures\Conduit – trench – Pit\Conduits”

BG : “Following to the conversation with Ali regarding this project, he suggested me to put VHA antenna and RRUs schematically until we receive VHA mount design from Structel. Please kindly check the attached G3 and let me know your idea about it so I can proceed this job.”
Answer : It looks fine at this stage.
    – Please consider antenna numbering/ tagging as per OSD-070 page 27. (It is not correct at the moment)

RULE : I know that VHA antenna should be in the left side with antenna numbing of 11-V , 21-V , 31-V

I forgot to ask a question regarding numbring . Since Optus antenna already exist in site and VHA antenna will be added to site, can we keep Optus antenna as a first antenna at each sector or we should follow the rule which has been mentioned in OSD-70?

Besides, Fr has considered VHA antenna as a second antenna in each sector?

  10. January 31, 2018 at 6:01 am
    Bahar

As far as we discussed regarding table A1, we came to the conclusion that we should follow proposed situation in table.

But I am not sure about the situation where there is an existing VHA7 in site which will be removed in proposed plumbing diagram, should I show in MHA as a Existing or not?

    • January 31, 2018 at 6:08 am
      Bahar

If you accept to remove MHA7 so please confirm that I can remove the feeders of MHA7 in table as well.

  11. January 31, 2018 at 6:07 am
    Bahar

    if you check sector 2 – antenna 1 – port 5 & 6 in as built

It is written shared in port 5 & 6 for 1800/2100 technologies.

You mentioned that each MHA needs 2 feeder cable, so how can it be shared?

    • February 1, 2018 at 11:27 pm
      Daryoosh

There is a Diplexer/ Combiner below MHA 900 and MHA 18/21 which carry just 2 feeder and connect to these two combiners through 4 tails.
Please look at the plumbing diagram.
If you didn’t get the point then we can discuss over the phone. 🙂
Note :You have too look at the new plumbing diagram for ports to consider in your new A1.

there is a discrepancy between AS Built and RFNSA address, please clarify.

    RFNSA ADDRESS:
LOT 22 PLAN 816458 BRIDGMAN RD OBANVALE NSW 2330

    AS BUILT:
    TELSTRA CO-LOCATION , COORANGOOLA ROAD , SINGLETON, NSW 2331

What should be the title for drawing A1 in coversheet’?

    RF PLUMBING DIAGRAM (template)
RF PLUMBING DIAGRAM – sheet 1 of 2 (As Built)

    • February 1, 2018 at 11:30 pm
      Daryoosh

It depends to how many A sheet you have.
Some times the table is too big so we have to consider A1, A2 and A3.
So if you have one sheet table, follow the template.

    3. NEW VHA ANTENNAS AND RRUs TO BE INSTALLED ON NEW VHA ANTENNA MOUNTS AND RRU MOUNTS ON EXISTING OPTUS FACE MOUNT.

    5. NEW VHA DIPLEXERS (3 OFF – 1 OFF PER SECTOR) TO BE INSTALLED BEHIND NEW VHA ANTENNAS.

    9. STRUCTURAL ADEQUACY OF NEW VHA ANTENNA MOUNTS AND RRU MOUNTS HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED BY STRUCTEL. REFER TO STRUCTEL CERTIFICATE REF: XXX DATED DD.MM.YY FOR DETAILS.

Just in note 3 delete “Optus” word.
      Rest are fine.

    Bahar

As far as I checked the photos, optus has only one small cable ladder which directs cables into underground. Please confirm

If yes, what will happen to new optus and VHA trunk cables?

    • February 1, 2018 at 11:40 pm
      Daryoosh

We have to check if there is enough space for new cables to go through the same route.
      Please check it :

      4-50 (0.625˝ = 15.875mm), 5-50 = 7/8˝ (0.875˝ = 22.225mm), 6-50 = 1 1/4˝ (1.25˝ = 31.750mm), 7-50 = 1 5/8˝ (1.625˝ = 41.275mm)

      HUBER & SUHNER MLEH 6/12 (4 CABLES CAPACITY) – size : 27.50mm + 1.00mm diameter

      HUBER & SUHNER MLEH 9/18 (7 CABLES CAPACITY) – size : 39.50mm + 1.00mm diameter

        Existing Optus cables:

        6 LDF 5-50
        1 MLEH 6/12

        New optus cables:

        1 MLEH 6/12

        New VHA cables:

        1 MLEH 6/12
        1 MLEH 9/18

      • February 5, 2018 at 4:41 am
        Daryoosh

For Optus, we have 10 RRU in total so if we already have 3 x MLEH 6/12 that would be fine. (no new cable is required)
for VHA there are 3 x 5 RRUs = 15 RRUs in total so 3 x MLEH6/12 should be fine.
cable ladder capacity is enough 100%.
for conduit please assume it is okay till I QA the job.

I have added VHA BTS based on the size which is mentioned in shelter type C3 but I am not sure it is correct.

    • February 9, 2018 at 12:12 am
      Daryoosh

      BTS size is 600 x 600 mm.
But please consider you cannot put the power rack on the north side of shelter as what you did. ( Because of the above cable tray)
Please move it to the location of the desk.
